Local FOSS Groups

The SouthEast LinuxFest might not have been possible without the organizers, volunteers, networking, and contacts made through local Linux User Groups (LUGs) and similar FOSS related groups.   To help feed back into this system, SELF will maintain a list of Linux and FOSS related groups throughout the SouthEast here.   If you would like your group included, email us.

    Hello,

I am looking to establish a Linux Study Group north of Atlanta. I would love to find best practices for how to organize a group, ideas on topics that should be covered, and how to best time slice speaker time, presentation time, and lab time to make this an effective group.

    Thanks,

    Shawn Russell
