I agree about the VP slot. I still hope we can find a vendor coordinator spot.
We haven't asked outside of irc for potential role-takers.
Maybe we should ask on LUG list, social networking sites, and personal
blogs before abandoning hope.

I talked with Roy Pargas at Clemson University last night, and today.
He has done some checking, and has found out for a fact that the
Hendrix center is NOT being used on the 12th and 13th of June 2010. I
asked him about the 11th as well (it is not free on the 11th, but he
will look into that too). He has a call in to the lady in charge of
student orientation, and is going to work the "benefit to students"
angle pretty hard. He seems encouraged at our prospects of being able
to obtain Hendrix. He will be gett9ng back in touch with me as soon as
he knows more.

The videos in this directory: http://viewdm.com/SouthEast-LinuxFest/video/
technically aren't ready for consumption yet.
The audio codec used in the video released so far, is quicktime, not
ogg vorbis.  Marshall is working to rectify this.
I'd rather people not use that directory, and wait, till the videos
are properly released with metadata, open formats, and up on the
internet archive.

I did and thought I copied the board on the reponse. Dr. Holt is now at the
University of Michigan. He said he would contact faculty at UNCC for us
though. No response yet.
